My mom yells and says tampons are not flushable. I know that the applicator is not flushable but is the peice that soakes up the blood flushable?

I'm only on my 2nd period and I'm a very active girl I play volleyball and I'm always jumping and filipping around on my trampoline. And my first tampon was a UbyKotex tampon I have a very light period. But UbyKotex did the job

allybo0247, that is a good question, I took out my tampons and it appears the applicators are different sizes. My advice is to always try the smallest one first to ensure the most comfort especially if you are just beginning your period.

I think you guys should come up with a sport line for girls like me who can't wear a pad because they are running and swimming and skating and your tampons don't work that well for absorbing for a long time.

U- You have changed girls thoughts about periods. With your colors and amazing advice, who cares about the blood? I only ask one thing: Lower your prices. I went to walmart today, and Always had 20 ultra thin liners for 98 cents. U By Kotex had 18 ultra thin liners for $1.24.

Oh an added. Most of my tampons are broken. At the top where it peeks through, yeah those are stretched out, the flowery petal part of the applicator where the tampon comes out. I had to throw 3 tampons away in a row because I couldn't get it in due to this flaw. Hate it.

Okay I tried these tampons out. Not impressed. The regular, for me, leaks horribly. I have to change my panti liner every hour, yet my tampon is not all the way filled. It's like most of it leaks through the sides and comes out right into my panti liner. Don't like these tampons.

For all you beginners, who don't know how to insert a tampon I strongly suggest googleing that or asking your mom if your comfortable with that. But if enyones mother is like mine , I'm extremely uncomfortable talking to my mom about that stuff. I just google all my info.

@ckb maybe the flow of the tampon that you're using is just too light, also try using a tampon along with a liner or even a pad. Sorry you dont like them though :(
